(ENDE413) SRVTR - Mittageisen

French conceptual artist, painter and noise industrialist Gildas Brugaro aka SRVTR (Servator) has been releasing with ENDE since almost our beginning. A master of musique concrete, harsh noise wall and mood driven atmospheric soundscapes. He also occasionally produces abstract, noise driven techno.

9 years in the European noise scene and more than two decades before that cutting his teeth in various bands and projects. SRVTR has released almost 80 albums and EPs on all formats, contributed to almost 200 compilations all over the world and experimented with many different experimental flavours and genres on labels such as Shitnoise, God Hates God and Foolish Records to name a few.

His new album "Mittageisen" sees a return to his love of deconstructed, overdriven techno rhythms, industrial patterns and piston like kick drums but this time wrapped in self recorded angular post punk noise guitar riffing!

SRVTR has always dived head first into noisy and fucked up electronics but on Mittageisen he has turned a corner with the addition of jarring metallic sounds and almost krautrock meets pigfuck noise guitars!!

It's like early Swans, Neu and Big Black being mixed into early Aphex Twin and Noisex and played out through a broken PA in a corroded meat truck.
