Stone Serpent is a new alias for Denver USA veteran electronic producer James Miller also known as Solypsis.

Well. Also known by many other pseudonyms such as Acid Rephluxxx, Age Without Reason, Asshole In A Wheelchair, ¡Gato Diablo!, Caff Monger, Champions Of Superior Winning, Demagogue, El Acidophilus, Free Electrons, Light Trap, Man Behind The Sun, Polyglot, Possum, The, Pulver, Pulverized Fontanelle, Scat Fancy, Shitty Bedroom Producer, Sine After Sine, Skokie Death Triad, Sylopsis, Taman Shud, Treacletown Reacharound, The, Trilobyte, Urethra Franklin and Wounded Animal.
He was also a member of the groups Entropic Advance and My Boy Is Dead.

Since 1998 he has been creating a variety of dark and twisted electronic styles such as rhythmic noise, ambient, musique concrete etc. and toured across the US and Japan.
Founder of influential noise label/collective "Digital Vomit" (which recently ended it's 10 year run of more than 100 releases for artists such as 7U?, Tomorah Hidari, Scorpio Scorpio, Jansky Noise and Plot Of Knives to name a few).

He has recorded over 1,500 tracks since 1998 and appeared on V/Vm Test Records, Freenoise Records, Hirntrust Grind Media, Dry Lungs Records, Component Recordings and many more that we don't have the space to name!

A fervent supporter of the international noise scene and many of the experimental electronic scenes that offshoot it. He has remixed or been remixed by V/Vm, Terminal 11, Datach'i, Meat Beat Manifesto, CEvin Key, JK Broadrick, 7U?, Beytah, Depose, Duran Duran Duran, Alpturer, Frog Pocket, Alien Hand and Somatic Responses to again name a few.

"The Unmoved Mover" is a 55 minute journey from light to dark, from sanity to madness, from flowing comprehension to random audio clutter and debris and macabre score.
10 tracks of noises and soundscapes that often lull the listener into false security before morphing into less comfortable and understandable arrangements.

Beginning with lilting, mellow, abstract, ambient compositions that as the album progresses,veer into a less visible and familiar path.

Like a deceptively comfortable chair. "The Unmoved Mover" causes your mind to first recline and relax before it begins to fidget and tic unsure of what it is processing or if it even wants to.
The appearance of a gentle, pad driven series of soundscapes, soon gives way to more terse compositions that abrade and scrape. Gradually the album Increasing in both volume and mood.
Before too long sounds are hurled at you, glitched and digitally disturbed with uneven and effected samples. Until it reaches a crescendo of broken beats and rhythmic patterns framing loosely assembled death industrial noise.
