(ENDE001) Noistruct - The Joke That Ate Itself

Racism, White Supremacy, Misogyny and Gentrification should be called out everywhere. Someone sitting in a Native American head dress and asking an all male white audience "How many black people are even in the room right now?" and "oh I have to listen to 5 black people this weekend otherwise I'm a fucking racist" is just fucking atrociously insulting to the POC who began the jungle movement decades ago.

The head of a major UK "jungletek" crew made these comments while sitting in a Native American head dress to "make fun of POC and social justice warriors who care about gender and race" which was broadcast on a Youtube channel during a major rave festival in 2018.

Neither the people involved with the broadcast or the promoters of the festival condemned the actions of the crew leader in question or the "hosts" of the Youtube broadcast. They instead claimed it was "just a joke yeah" and told POC disgusted by the insulting and offensive display that if they didn't like it...

..."they can fucking deal with it"

It is a crew run by white nationalists for white nationalists. A crew who's mission is to whitewash and gentrify jungle, robbing it of it's working class and POC origins and rebranding it for a white only audience.
For anyone in the UK to openly declare "blacks" as having no place in jungle even as a fucking joke ...is just beyond the pale and begs the question "what the fuck is wrong with these people?"

These actions are not acceptable.

Rich white ravers sitting around making fun of Jungle's Reggae heritage and joking about women's rights while white male audiences yell out "I'd fuck her" is not funny it's just disgusting and disrespectful to the many women and POC who have built the UK jungle movement out of nothing, while these brats were still glints in their white suburban parents eyes. Many of ENDE Records' POC artists (particularly the Native American ones) and contributors were shocked and deeply offended by this despicable display of white male privilege.

Being transgender is not a free pass to be a disgusting nationalist racist.

ENDE Records will call out racist and misogynist behaviour and encourages all in all techno scenes to do the same.

Anyone who encourages or allows this type of behaviour or any UK dance music festival that not just permits it but gives it a platform to spew it's divisive and atrocious hatred and then promotes it on it's youtube channels is showing no respect for DJs and Producers who are POC or women or LGBTQI people.
