ON THE FIRST NIGHT OF AFTER MIDNIGHT 4 WE DECIDED TO DO A TRIBUTE TO ONE OF THE PIONEERING WEB LABELS FROM CANADA D-TRASH RECORDS. WE EVEN POKED AND PRODDED POOR OLD SCHIZOID TIL HE AGREED TO COME OUT OF RETIREMENT FOR IT.

ENDE RECORDS WAS EXTREMELY GRATEFUL TO EVERYONE AT D-TRASH FOR LETTING US PAY HOMAGE TO THEM AND ALL SETS THAT MADE IT TO AIR ON THE NIGHT ARE HERE!

SCHIZOID (Canada)
Schizoid is a one man noise machine of electronic apocalypse. The production alter ego of Jay who is also the head honcho of the infamous Canadian web label D-Trash which paved the way for many web labels back when the internet was still dial up. Punching out dozens of releases from digital hardcore and breakcore early pioneers like Contra, Hyperdriver and CPUwar.

Schizoid himself is a pioneer of what is now called "digigrind" and part of the early digital hardcore movement. He's been playing live and producing for nearly 25 years and has released on aside from his own D-Trash, Digital Hardcore Recordings, Double Threat, Digicore Far East, Hardliner Recordings, Legs Akimbo and Invasion Wreck Chords to name a few.

Although in the end this was more of a DJ set than a live Schizoid show it was nonetheless impressive!

We dragged Schizoid out of his early retirement for this show so thanks again to Jay!

OXYGENFAD (Canada)
Oxygenfad is another well known breakcore and drill n bass producer from the influential Canadian digital hardcore scene who's been around for over 20 years. With more than 30 releases on a variety labels and a few self released such as "Breakcore's Not Dead" the 2018 album he collaborated on with Schizoid and Alec Empire of Atari Teenage Riot.

When we approached him to do a set for the podcast. He decided to something a bit different. An audio narrated documentary of sorts that walks the listener through his development and progression as Oxygenfad with tracks played from his career including neevr before heard early examples of his first productions!

HYPERDRIVER (UK)
Hyperdriver is a breakcore/hardcore/power electronics/noise producer from the UK. A pioneer of the UK breakcore scene with 25+ years experience and releases on dozens of labels including Beergut Recordings, D-Trash Records, ENDE Records and Legs Akimbo to name a few.

Hyperdriver is the multi-genre electronic project of Steve Munslow, a prolific artist and remixer. The project specialises in aggressive, Noisy, weird and distorted sounds; mainly in speedcore, digital hardcore, powernoise and other things of that ilk.

noCore is the one of the performing names of Michael Schmidt, an electronic music producer and livePA artist. He is known for creating improvisational rhythmic noise music with a wide range of influences ranging from bare minimal ambient music to extreme splatter breached digital grindcore.

MIDI FISTER (USA)
Midi Fister is a breakcore/chipcore/industrial producer based in Texas. An old school fool he's been around in various US breakcore scenes and has had releases on Streetscape and D-Trash Records as well as a few compilation appearances in the late 2000s. He hadn't played in quite some time when AFTER MIDNIGHT asked him to. But his set remained one of the most memorable easily.
