about

(ENDE92) Vomitron Macdoom - Mutant Fuk

One of the best and most underrated breakcore producers in Australia has always been Melbourne's Vomitron Macdoom. Producing some of the most unique breakcore, industrial hardcore and rhythmic noise.

Extreme, abrasive, sometimes barely listenable but always confrontational and heavy. Vomitron Macdoom is a melting pot of broken and pummeled breaks, effects, mutilated samples and kick drums twisted and deformed beyond recognition. It's like he took the term breakcore literally as his tracks sound as if they have been thrown into a bag and smashed against the wall before being reassembled with sticky tape.

Heavily influenced by abstract noise, breakcore, industrial music and death and black metal. There is a method to the madness and his albums were known to be more than just a collection of tracks but also a personal exorcism.

"Mutant Fuk" is no different. A bizarre and unsettling narrative using film, TV and homemade samples along with out of time and erratic kick drum patterns and slashes of static and noise.

Vomitron Macdoom has been producing for around 15 years and has had a few self-released short run CDRs under names like An-guts, Guts, Rek, Reka, Errorist and now Vomitron Macdoom. He was briefly affiliated with Melbourne collective Black Lotus and most notably before that Graylands where he contributed to compilations on both labels.

"Mutant Fuk" was originally a short run of CDrs and is now re-released on ENDE Records for the first time digitally.
