(ENDE86) Contact Low - Complete Inaction

It's been a few months since we had a drone/ambient release. Thankfully "Contact Low" has come along just in time to give us a new release in that vein!

Contact Low is a Native American Indian Artist from Billings Montana USA, specializing in "Doom Electronics". Contact Low aka Kenneth Oblivion began making harsh noise and death industrial in 2004 at the age of 12! Originally under the name "Cranial Drill" Later moving towards more dark ambient, drone and more ethereal industrial noise in 2010 and changing his name to "Contact Low"

In his own words "Contact Low was the logical continuation, instead of self hatred and anger, it's more influenced by self doubt and depression. among other things. The last show I did as Cranial Drill was more doomy and atmospheric, thus showing the change happened without me really knowing it"

And so after some compilation appearances including the Mindblasting Netlabel. Contact Low has given us his debut EP "Complete Inaction" to precede the forthcoming cassette releases on FLUXUSMT as well as his own label Doomed Recluse Audio.

"Complete Inaction" is great introduction to the "Doom Electronics" genre. A collection of sprawling echoed pads, dissonant soundscapes and ominous, distant noise. Like looking into the horizon of an uncharted planet. Fans of Final, Sun O))), Lustmord and Brighter Death Now will enjoy this.
