"Recorded earlier in 2016, this is the debut release between experimental artists Anthony Cooley and David Prescott-Steed. With strong backgrounds in the Melbourne experimental music scene, and drawing on musical worlds such as avant garde jazz, death industrial, primitive techno and Math Rock this release sees the duo working outside the DAW in a primitive analogous realm.
With a sense of contrast between one player using a variety of equipment to create beautiful sonic particles, and the other relying on the simplistic brute force of running drum machines and ms-20s into gross fuzz.
Recorded live with scarce edits, the end result is 34 minutes of call and response sonic exploration over pummelling drum machines in the realms of airier droning ambience, and suffocating harsh noise"

"34:20" this live recorded debut album from Melbourne Australia based artists Anthony Cooley and David Prescott-Steed is a brilliant live construction. A cacophonous soup of mismatched and forced sounds driven by the anchor of a warbling, repetitive saw synth and offtime drum machine. which almost instantly reminded me of the great live electronic duos of the 90s and 2000s. Such as Techno Animal, Council Estate Electronics, Autechre or Somatic Responses.

Brilliantly mastered and left predominantly intact with erratic levels and only as much sound control as the two of them could master in production. It's a fantastic live electronic experimentation/noise album.
