(ENDE188) Hawawa - View EP

Hawawa is a breakcore/braindance producer from Japan. It's unknown when he began producing but his first release, the two track EP "Interlude" on Russian label "Deathsoundbat Recordings" was released almost a week and a year ago today.

Since then he has self released and released through other labels 10 albums and EPs and contributed to 18 compilations on labels such as Otherman Records, Bleeplove, Legs Akimbo, Splitterkor Rekords Dwizko!, Core Collective Records and Tsendere Violence to name a few.

The "View EP" is his first release for ENDE Records and is a brilliant showcase of his lighter and more upbeat braindance and breakcore. Lush, chipstyle synth melodies and dreamy delayed pads wash over finely cut, ultrafast amens, deep gabber kicks and live drum pattern style rhythm compositions, merged with typical junglist breakcore beat randomisations.

Despite all the whimsical, kawaii smiling, video game style tunes and glowing keys. Beatwise, Hawawa retains a masterful control of a heavy and punchy lightspeed breakbeat assault.
