ETIOLATION - ETIOLATION (ENDE08)

Etiolation was a one off collaboration between two friends inspired by noise, black metal, speedcore and gabber.

"Aston" who was a body modifying industrial hardcore producer and "Alex Radlinksi" an audio and visual artist and musician.
This EP was the result of a collaboration between the two, produced in Perth Western Australia in early 2002.

Similar to Aston's solo hardcore project. It was unorthodox in production methods and completely ignorant of any type of standard cohesion, usually found in any style of electronic music.
Acid synths, low grade kick drums, chip melodies, screams and wails, cheap static, goth like pads and choirs and absurdly humorous recorded vocal samples are clustered into unlistenably fascinating gabber melodies that insult techno, hardcore and noise music alike with erratic time changes and confusing tangents.

This their first and maybe only release anywhere, is a privelige for ENDE to release. Etiolation are longtime colleagues of mine and considering I organised their first show, which never happened due to the night I was running at The Hyde Park Hotel in Perth being shut down - I kind of owe them one.
